DESCRIPTION:PEDAL THE CAUSE is coming to the Spirit of STL!!!  See the information below on how to register for this event.  If you register soon on through the team link\, the registration cost will be covered!  You will still need to fundraise\, but you will not have to put up the money to register.  This is an event sponsored by my Joint Venture partner (and @Gumbo\, @Chia Pet\, and @Waterworks employer). \n  \nPTC’s mission is to provide critical funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital through this annual cycling challenge. Their hope is that research funded by Pedal the Cause will ultimately lead to a cure for cancer. 100% of the participant-raised donations for this event fund innovative cancer research. HOW TO PARTICIPATE:\nRIDE — Taste the Cause & Inspiration Program: September 23\, 2022\n              Ride\, Spin\, Inspired: September 24-25\, 2022\n\nThere are ride opportunities ranging from 10 to 100 miles on both Saturday & Sunday – perfect for cyclists of all levels! Don’t have a bike? Can’t be present? There are options to rent a bike\, spin on a stationary bike\, or be a virtual rider. All I thought about was that I wasn’t going to let anything happen to the guy on my left and the guy on my right.”\n– U.S. Army Ranger Keni Thomas\, Task Force Ranger \nCommemorate 28 years since the battle in Somalia that resulted in the ultimate sacrifice of 18 U.S. servicemen\, including two Delta Force snipers who were posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. This Challenge honors the men of Task Force Ranger (3rd Battalion\, 75th Ranger Regiment; 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – Delta; and 10th Mountain Division) their courage and sacrifice on 3/4 October 1993 to achieve mission success\, albeit at great cost. Expect a history lesson and a timeline re-enactment of the mission that inspired Black Hawk Down. \n\n\n\n\n10-12 HOURS\, 15-20 MILES. THE ORIGINAL CHALLENGE.
